F5 opens new 250-seat engineering centre in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: F5 has opened its new engineering centre in Bengaluru city, recently. The company’s new 250-seat engineering centre is an expansion of its current engineering centre in Hyderabad, which focuses on global product development and innovation.

The new engineering centre, spread across 50,000 square feet is located on the 1st floor of Pine Valley, Embassy Golf Links Business Park. F5 President and CEO François Locoh-Donou inaugurated the centre on 16 May.

The centre will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s research, development and product innovation as it expands its portfolio of multi-cloud application security and delivery solutions.

The opening of this centre will create opportunities for talented engineers focusing on cutting-edge technologies and meet evolving customer needs, F5 said.

“India has a thriving technology ecosystem and benefits from strong public sector-led innovation through programs such as Digital India,” said François Locoh-Donou, President and CEO of F5 Networks.

“The opening of our engineering center in Bengaluru will enable F5 to fully tap into local talent to help deliver innovative multi-cloud application solutions to our global customer base,” added Locoh-Donou.

F5 has been operating in India for over two decades. It has its largest R&D centre in Hyderabad focused on enhancing the company’s solutions portfolio in conjunction with its other global engineering centres in the U.S. and Israel. The new centre in Bengaluru will extend these capabilities and provide access to more talent and resources in India.
