Check Point expands enterprise and commercial business team in India

Mumbai: Check Point Software has expanded its enterprise and commercial business team in India with two new strategic senior appointees.

The senior hiring comes at a time when Check Point is aiming to expand its teams and partner networks to capitalize on growth opportunities in the India market.

Check Point has appointed Harish Kumar as Head of Enterprise in India, while Shivin Sharma will lead as Head of Commercial Business & Channel Sales for India and South Asia region.

Kumar has over 25 years of IT experience and has held key positions at HP, IBM and HCL. He will lead the teams overseeing the banking and financial services verticals, IT and ITeS sectors and the telecom vertical.

Sharma also has an extensive IT experience that includes key positions at Automation Anywhere, IBM, SAP and VMware. In his role, he will be responsible for Check Point’s partner ecosystem in India. He will also lead the company’s progress in manufacturing, pharma, new age companies, as well as tier 2 and 3 market coverage.
