Posted by New Delhi: Sanjay Shastry has joined Kingsley Gate Partners – a global executive search firm.
Kingsley Gate Partners has appointed Shastry as a Partner to strengthen the company’s presence in South Asia, according to an issued statement.
With over 25 years of experience, Shastry brings combined expertise in executive search and business management. He specializes in the industrial sector across the startup, growth and turnaround phases of business.
Kingsley Gate Partners is a laser-focused on global expansion in 2021 throughout both the Asia Pacific and Europe regions.
“As a first step in the rolling out of that strategy, we are delighted to welcome Sanjay to our team,” the Office of the CEO, Kingsley Gate Partners commented on the appointment of Sanjay Shastry.
Prior to joining Kingsley Gate Partners, Shastry worked as CEO and MD of India based RGF Executive Search.
He joined RGF (erstwhile Stanton Chase) in late 2004 and built the Delhi office ground up prior to the India franchise’s acquisition by RGF, a division of the $22 billion Recruit Holdings of Japan, in 2013.
Before entering the executive search world, Shastry worked with Esso Petroleum India – an Indian subsidiary of former Exxon Corporation.
He spearheaded the firm’s launch in South India, ultimately leading the Industrial business in the region.
“I joined Kingsley Gate Partners as I wanted to be an intrinsic part of a search firm that looked and talked different while maintaining the true essence of top-level executive search,” said Sanjay Shastry.
“I challenged the rather conservative me that technology can be used in a high-touch relationship business such as Executive Search, especially in an increasingly disruptive environment we live in,” added Shastry.
He is an Industrial and Production Engineer with a Post Graduate degree in Business Management from XLRI.
