Chalapathi Rao joins Orange Business Services as GM India

New Delhi: Chalapathi Rao has joined Orange Business Services as General Manager for India, effective March 14, 2022.

Orange Business Services announced the appointment of Chalapathi Rao as GM India on Thursday. Rao has taken over the charge from Bala Mahadevan, who retired from the company after spending the past decade.

As a successor of Mahadevan, Rao is responsible for Orange Business Services activities and growth in India.

Rao is an experienced leader with a successful track record in the telecom space. With over three decades of multi-domain experience including R&D, Operations, Technology and Sales,

He joined Orange Business Services from Tata Communications Transformation Services Ltd (TCTS), where he served as COO. Prior, he held successive leadership positions at BEL, Indian Railways, BPL, Lucent and Tata Communications Group.
